WASIM AKRAM: THE BEST PITCHER IN THE WORLD


Good morning friends! Today I come back to tell you about one of my favorite cricketers: Wasim Akram. I hope you like his story.


Wasim Akram is recognized as one of the greatest cricketers of all time. A fast lefty pitcher who represented the Pakistan cricket team in different international competitions. In October 2013, Wasim Akram was the only Pakistani cricketer chosen in the best world team of all time to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Wisden Cricketers Almanack.

Akram is considered one of the best and fastest players in the history of cricket. He holds the world record for the highest number of wickets with 881. He is considered one of the founders and perhaps the finest exponent of the reverse swing launch.Now  PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE TEAMS 2018 has been announced. He was the first cricketer to reach the 500-wicket mark during the 2003 World Cup. In 2002 Wisden launched his only list of the best players of all time. Wasim was ranked as the best pitcher of all time with a score of 1223.5, ahead of Allan Donald, Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Joel Garner, Glenn McGrath and Muralitharan. On September 30, 2009, Akram was one of five new members introduced in the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. Akram won 17 men's prizes of the match in 104 tests. He took 4 hat-tricks in international cricket. It ended with 22 Man-in-the-Party awards in ODIs. In 199 ODI match victories, he added 326 wickets in less than 19 each with an execution rate of 3.70. Before his retirement, he was one of the eight most important players in the Sharjah league in April 2003, and was then omitted from the Pakistan team for the subsequent triangular series of the Alfalah Cup. Due to his omission of the team, he did not participate in a farewell match. Akram fulfilled his game contract for Hampshire until the end of the cricket season in England.
